Still a popular item at Ben's Kosher Delis in Queens and Nassau. Paninis, however, are not sandwiches unless they are Reubens or Cubanos. Only they count. Others are inventions of the panini cartel trying to elbow its way into the deli business. Lanksy would've never let this happen.
